    Had this issue today I'm surprised I didn't think of it sooner but I had a starter solenoid wire on a car give out while working on it and so I had to splice it and re connect good wire on so when I tried to heat it up with the one dinky iron it just clumped up outside the connection and didn't 'soak' up the solder.

    Hello sir , I have the same ts-100 and they hate being clean with brass I see what’s doing but if you want better life with your tips get tip tinner once your done just one tap of that will give you about 66’-9 months of use I buy tips every 6 months but I’m using both all day for about 5 hours in a day !
