A right quick video today. As you know, the Ecoflow River is last year's uh Uh model and it currently is the best bang for your buck because it's as low as 149. Uh, there's a link in the description where you can find that right? It's definitely not the biggest. Uh, it's not the newest. it doesn't have the most capacity and other stuff, but it does have 288 one hours and it'll do uh, 600 watts. Uh, continues on their little AC right. So it's big enough, it's small enough to be portable right and light. and it's cheap at 149. Um, but it's 600 watts is big enough to like. do you know, a refrigerator? some little heaters? a bunch of things. The only thing that it kind of is lacking is its capacity right at 288 Watt hours? Well, it's a bit small. now. The cool thing is that if you take this unit and flip it over, you take these screws off and Ecoflow has made a battery. this battery that connects right on the bottom of this and then you make this into the max or the pro I Think that's what they call it the pro. Um now I don't know of? uh. Ecoflow actually has these available I Know they made them. and if you take these screws, the connectors there. So the ability for you to connect and expand this battery pack right on an official battery pack from Ecoflow, it's possible. but I don't know if this product is available I don't know how much it costs. Um, but that's probably the expensive way to do it. See what I'm looking at here is that you could also DIY add more body battery. You can double triple quadruple your capacity on this guy just by making a 6S battery. This is a special border that I made because we usually don't sell six. six cell uh 6s is like 22 right? I Think it's like a 22 uh volt battery that not a lot of people need. It's like not standard but this has a 25 Max 25 volt Max charging on the uh solar input and so a 6S it's what you need and so we made this one and all you have to do is just connect it in here, right? And so what happens is that when you're using this, your chart discharging it right, you're using your load, but at the same time you're charging it and that's how this works. So that means the battery in here will last you longer. I Mean it'll last you twice as much. Three times as much, right? Because you can put input this up to 10 amps. Uh, at 25 amps, right? and at 25 volts. So this battery is, uh, basically the optimum uh voltage that you can take the 10 amps in there, right? So here we go. it's charging at 155 watts and this battery is right now at nominal so it's not 100 charged. If you charge it all the way up then this will go a little bit faster. So this we're gonna make this available and it's gonna be ready to go just basically for you to plug it in there and with the little charger uh and a little charger plug so that you can charge it. So when you charge it, even if you're charging this off the wall uh or even via solar, you all you have to do is just connect your solar in here and then connect your charger to your battery and connect it in here. and then that way it charges this thing and then this thing charges that and so it's really easy to use. and then when you want to discharge it, you just flip it around, connect this back in here and now you start using this and because you have a battery connected on the input, then it's gonna It's Gonna Last Way longer right? So this is going to be available at Job 35 too. Uh, look for it, it's gonna be called the River expansion battery DIY expansion battery right? and so it'll be ready to go. You'll be able to get because these are modular boards. You'll be able to get a single one with the little BMS board or double one or triple quadruple. This is four of them right here. This right here, uh, adds about three times more capacity to this, right. So this is quite a bit of battery. You're more than doubling the capacity there. So there you go. This thing is currently the best bang for your buck when it comes to Portable uh Power stations right? and you can find it in the link down below before they sell out. Okay, see you guys on the next video. Bye.

That's awesome! ill have to think about getting one I was just hoping for a lower price after I saw you selling a 1kw pack for the delta mini for around $100 but sadly that pack wont work for the river

Had two of the Rivers in my cart. And Although this is highly discounted, I still think $149 is too much for such a small toy. Just too limiting. Would consider at $89.

Nioceee can I attach maybe 5-10 of those battery packs together to the Eco delta mini? Thanks for the help you have always giving to us DIYers sir I've been a subscriber for a long time already

neat and all but the price for the EFR on jag35 is low enough that it might be more beneficial to get two 🤣

I add capacity to mine via a 1200 watt boost converter from 25 18550 cells in parellel . No need for bms but I only discharge to 2.5 volts !maybe a little voltage cutoff cicuit would be a good idea. I like to have thing moduler
