They did not tighten the flare nuts on the brake hoses. I would not be surprised if they left a wiring harness unplugged.

Auto manufacturers use the title engineer to mean a person hired that has access to the larger company database of previously completed repairs. Usually they are not Engineers nor even technicians. Support engineers I have worked with in the past have been to an auto technician introductory program and get hired straight out of school. Field techs usually know more than they do once the product has been in the market for some time.
Not a good experience from a new company that has to make its reputation.
This is a really interesting study and a familiar story (I've heard of many similar stories with Tesla). But, was there any email correspondence, follow up from you end and their end, during the initial contact?
These shows even Rivian is weak in the software dept and way behind Tesla. I hope they get the service worked out just like Tesla is trying as well.
