Let's talk about scooters, this is the child me 356 scooter and it's very, very fun all right. Let's talk about the scooter, this is the segway es4 right and it's kind of a first generation consumer uh scooter that was implemented. That was uh used by uber right, and so this is a legit 800 scooter when it was brand new, and so when we got them, we got about 500 of them. They came partially taken apart, but when we evaluated them, then we realized that it wasn't that much work to put it back together for the customer right and to wake it up and to get it running.

And so that's the reason why we decided to sell that one uh to the customers right. There was enough value in there for people to take on the work that it would take to get it going and then, by the time you got it working well, even if you had to buy an extra part or two or a battery or whatever um. There's still enough value in there. It was still a great deal to get this for like 199, that we were selling it for and even if you have to spend an extra 50 or even 100 bucks, you still end up with a with the scooter.

That is worth 800 bucks and you you got it working right. So that's that one this one here now is the channel me 356 and this is a competing product. But in my opinion, it's not as good as the other one. It has less battery um.

It's got some things that are better like it's got pneumatic tires, which are you know better. It feels has a better ride, but then they can go flat right. So there are things like that. Now this one's only have one battery, and so you can upgrade to a longer range, so they have slightly shorter range and uh.

I think they're a little bit slower the acceleration's a little bit slower on these. Now we bought - i don't know - maybe two 300 of these, but we bought them in pallets and these don't come broken down. They are, for the most part, all together, but they come in very different state right. So these are uh.

These were brand new or unused right, they've been in pallets for a long time, so they they had nicks and dance in here. But for the most part, a lot of stuff was like brand new unused. These are used, and so you might have to replace more things like handles, maybe because they're worn out like tires uh, sometimes like the little things, the plastic things are broken. Uh some do not have batteries, some do have batteries.

Some will require the electronics to go here right, the dashboard, i think all of them need that by the way, because the ones that they come with was kind of a proprietary piece of equipment that was for bird, which is the one that owned these and operated. These right, so for that reason we have decided that it's too much work for us to put them back together or to sell them um. You know one by one: it's not even worth for us to be able to to to go to the trouble taken out of the palette, put it in a box and then ship it uh, because then the customer doesn't get as great value. So i think what is great value here is for you to someone to buy the full pallet and then go through them and then put enough of them together and then sell them right and they can still make money now.
I don't want to do that because for me it cost me a lot of money to to do the labor right, because i have to pay a person uh. You know salary or hourly wages and then taxes and then insurance and then all that nonsense right. So so, therefore it doesn't make sense for me to do anything with each other, then sell them by the pallet okay. So we have several of these pallets and uh.

It turns out that we, it just doesn't make financial sense for us to work on these and get them running and then sell them to you. We would have to sell them kind of too expensive right and i'm not about selling expensive stuff, just in the sake of making money. My deal is that i'm trying to make stuff available that is affordable right. That is cheap because it's either discarded and we're going to give it a second life and that sort of stuff right.

So these come in all kinds of conditions. Some of them still have the electronics, some of them don't most of these tires are probably low. Maybe some of them are going to be flat. Uh some of them have batteries most of them.

I want to say, have batteries, but some of them don't see like this. One here is already being uh taken off, so they come in all kinds. Uh. Some are missing, wheels and some are just broken.

You know little fenders and stuff, so these come in all kinds of stages, right uh that one also doesn't have. I think this is one that we took down apart and then we made up into a pack again. That's why it's so messy, but they usually came like that. There's another one there uh yeah! So that's the reason.

There's just too much! There's a lot of value in here right at the prices that uh we're giving these someone can go through them and then uh fix them up and then resell them and make quite a bit of money. It's just. We don't have the manpower to do it. I don't want to hire people to do this because well, american labor is very, very expensive, and so i already have quite a bit of overhead in my operations here.

This is just one of three warehouses, so there's a lot of rent and i already have a team, a small team, but you know i pay them well, so it's uh getting where a lot of money is going there and i don't want to add to to That right and so that's why i'd rather to sell those pallets of scooters to someone else that can also make money right, and so i you know, i make a little bit of money and then we all make a little bit of money. I think that's that's! Where it's at - and i can concentrate then in making projects for all of these batteries, which are my main thing right, this is the thing that excites me is the the actual batteries, not the scooter. So much scooters are fun, but this is what's gon na make diy power walls. It's gon na make diy cars.
I have a lot of plans for these and i'm working on a lot of projects, but there you go if you're looking for a way to get into the uh scooter business right. If you like scooters, if you want to make a little bit of money, you have some time to work on these and put these back together. There's an opportunity here - and we have a few of these pallets - we're just trying to get rid of them uh so that we can buy more batteries. Now we are supposed to get more of the nine bot scooters in the next shipment.

We just don't know exactly when that is going to come, so if you're interested in those do keep checking the website and keep an eye for that announcement. Also, if you're interested in buying a whole palette of the chai, only 356 then check out jack 35 and if there's enough interest of these, we likely will get more in the future. But if not, then we'll just sell the ones we have in stock now. Thank you for watching this video we'll see you guys on the next one.

Bye.

I just got my replacement Segway Ninebot ES4 wheel from your website. I kinda justified the purchase because mine needed a tire anyway. Yours was barely more than the cost of a replacement tire and it came with spare parts! Unfortunately, the tread is gone. Do you have any new tires to sell? I’d love to buy several. 🙂

I’ve been riding my ES4 several months but the tread was almost gone in the first few weeks. It’s my only transportation after an EF-4 tornado crushed my car earlier this year so I can’t afford to keep buying tires at full price.

Take four of those motors, hook them up for four wheel steering…. Big battery pack…. Nice little motored cart for neighborhood delivery…

Can you break up a pallet or 2 and sell them individually? I know you stated you weren’t going to do that but unless someone is extremely local…shipping would be outrageous. Also storage for the average person would be a issue. Just asking you to reconsider =)
