I made my diy 90mm hub esk8t like a yr or so ago. still going strong and fast. I also took boards like the swagboard that folks tossed, and those are surprisingly fast for a single hub after I got hold of them. Also, I've only used batteries off the bird scooters. This my first sharing bout it all bc I'm a hermit ass shadow builder 🙂
You should use 350w ebike controllers, they are less than 10€ each and you can go up to 16s without frying them.
And if you modify them you can go up to 1300w for each motor (and hoverboard wheels can support it)
So what is best budget powerfull motor except hoverboard one ? I need advice for my first building, I m thinking about flipsky 6374 …
