Guys just a little update from the road. I am in bishop. California. And i i'm in one of the two first rivian stations uh from the adventure network and these are different than every other ones out there every other station that we've ever pulled to charge uh fast charge a car.
They're usually on a parking. Lot behind a building somewhere far from everything. These right here are literally in the parking. Lot of a el poyo loco.
Like you literally park here you walk right. There that's the front door and this is the first i think in the future all charging stations are gonna be like this they're gonna be like in every stall and so it looks weird right now because this is the first one that i've seen where it's they all seem to be in the way. But i think in the future these are gonna get smaller and they're gonna be in front of every single stall. It's just it's weird to see them right here.
But the future is here and here we are charging.
We have chargers outside the doors of a supermarket in Eastbourne, UK. Everyone and their wife parks in them. Disabled drivers, people who are ‘only stopping for 5 mins’, and those who just don’t give a feck.
There’s a reason why chargers aren’t put close to the doors.
But good luck with those. 🙂
the end is near
The future.. Not really.. The real future is an automatic 50kwh battery you can put near your car and charge it in 30/45mn then move it to a safe place foe recharge. A powerbank for car. These 'wall' chargers force you to park in a specific way (imagine you have a trail) for a long time, plus the problem of maintenance, cabling, idiot who park here without charging.
Good god, man… Go to the camera settings and turn off “mirror front camera”.
Hope they don't get taken up by El pollo loco regulars by accident.

Tesla station around here have regular gas stations. Restaurants and grocery stores

They're will need to be chargers all over the place so you can charge wherever. Until there's miracle chargers and batteries that charge as fast at petrol.ThankQ.TkEZ>UK
It's cool that they are in the front, but people with an ice cars will occupy them, why b/c people are horrible.
