the URUAV MC-6S, is similar to the discontinued model you have there. and go for around $10 from banggood, it may be worth your time to check out.

Is there a reason you never use 2500mah Ni-MH batteries and is it worth trying to build a battery pack for Ni-MH batteryโ€™s?

BIG FAN! love the idea of a portable "powewall" for emergencies
    Maybe you can trademark "powerbox"

Can you do this in a Milwaukee tool Packout tool box?

I use those alarms in my rc planes and if they work well, when it beeps I check that cell with a multimeter and read the same thing. The same as having that inverter connected to the output without any filter affects the measurement of cheap alarms.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kioshi Ootori says:

Theres low voltage cut offs — with timers integrated with a few double a battery backup for the clock — you could put that on the main output to say only run the inverter/bank at night — and since you have a BMS a tiny arm/risc/PIC setup may allow you to do what you want AND have more features — like the ability for push notifications of battery voltages to your cellphone — and in a worst case scenario turn off the device — not to mention a tiny arm SOC with 2 usb ports and bluetooth would potentially allow a cellular modem expansion, monitoring the BMS and thermals for remote control and monitoring of the unit for remote solar deployments — or for first responders, medical patients whom need it to keep infusion pumps going or other things — overall its just the wrong solution — noise is great but it cant intervene or notify remotely during critical failure….
