I just cooked a set of batteries protected by a Daly BMS. The charge controller shorted closed and the BMS saw the full panel voltage of 90v for a 24v system. When it turned the battery off due to 100 SOC, it pumped full solar voltage onto the fet shirting the charge FETs. Batteries died. Make sure you check max voltage handling of the solid state switched against possible input voltage failures, or use mechanical switch.

The blue device that you use as a switch, is that to cut power from the charger to prevent over charging or is it to cut power to the load to prevent over discharge?
