hopefully, you answer this question!! I built a battery pack just like yours, with all positive on one side and all negative on the other side. In theory, I'm trying to make a 7s12p = 48v pack to power my go-kart. Each bus bar has 24 batteries connected to it 12 on the left and 12 of the right. So 7 series X 24 batteries. When soldering everything up Positive to the positive bus bar and negative to the negative bus bar I get one big 3.7 battery pack. What am I doing wrong to achieve 51.8v? Do I have to do negative to positive on one bus bar and so on? Or can i do it you way?

You are using fuses or resistors to connect the cells to the busbars. You use the bms card to balance the cells.

hola Jehu! It would be very good to participate in this project, I am a specialist in soldering and breaking electronic devices .. but unfortunately I live very far. Maybe I can travel to meet them. It's very good what they do. Many successes with this stage!!!! Greetings from Arg!!

Jehu, I have yet another question…. I'm getting some LiFePO4 cells for a new solar project and I'm planing on using a EPever/EPsolar tracer charge controller and I want to know what setting to use to charge the pack… The charge controller has 4 "modes" that I can choose from: flooded, gel, sealed and "User" the EV power website says that you can simply set the mode to gel and it will be fine, but the charge curve of gel lead acid batteries are very different from LiFePO4 or any Lithium battery. Specifically, bulk Charging, constant Charging then float Charging for lead acids vs just the simple CC-CV charge method of lithium. So would it be better if I just set the mode to user, and set a constant 28.4v for all "stages" of the charge? Thanks!

Wish I could help in person but can't at this time. Rooting from Canada. I also feel the special battery spot welders will do a great job.
