2. Do you still stand by your statement that a bms is not needed for Li ion cells/batteries? So many videos today are increasingly talking about bms for battery packs. What is considered the threshold voltage. Is that minimum cutoff voltage or maximum cutoff voltage, 3V, 2,5 volts or 2Volts?

6. Very good video. It's hard to find good information about this topic on the internet. It would also be nice to have an explanation about the difference between series and parallel connection in regards to charging. To my knowledge batteries connected in parallel are quite forgiving if you don't balance them, while batteries in series can be dangerous if not balanced (with high load).

10. I rewired a 2000 civic hybrid battery. Two cell packs together for a 17v system.
    I been charging them with my old school RV charger.
    No problems yet.
    Set it up with regulator to make 12v.

    Should I expect a issue.?
    I use for led lighting so far. No high wats.

11. Hi i have build a 14s 6 battery 18650, can i charge my battery pack with the charger without bms? because the charger only goes to 58,8 v? Hope for anwser

13. Sooo…can I plug in my mini-chainsaw, or do I have to do something more to balance them? It's a 20v max lithium ion; 36WH 2.0 AH battery. Charger input 100-240VAC 50/60Hz 2022/05; output 21VO.8A MADE IN CHINA

    Every cordless power tool I've used in the past has quickly transformed into a brick. After the first use, it powers down to a hum of death. That's the hum that tells the user "I'm too lazy to sing". After that, it never held enough power regardless of how long I charged it. But I couldn't find a mini-chainsaw with a power cord, and I have to chop down a tree. I figure a mini-chainsaw allows me to hold on to the tree with one hand while lopping off branches with the other. It came with safety glasses, so we're good. Something tells me I should get a helmet. Ah, well. Another day, maybe.
