you need to move the axel back about 8" from center. really bad things can happen if you dont.

you can use some 400amp welding connectors and some welding cables.
Make sure to measure the voltage drop for your cable
For the brackets of your tail lights, flip them 180 degrees so the bracket extending off each side is 3 inches recessed from the rear of the trailer. This will allow you to stand the trailer on end for storage. Also when backing up if you bump something, it will hit the metal frame rather than take out your light. I have one of these trailers and this little trick is recommended by guys with the Harbor Freight version. Pretty easy/useful mod.

Very cool work. I just found your channel and like it.With your connectors check what the current rating. Connectors have a current carrying and current interrupting rating. You only need to worry about the carrying capacity as you wont use the connector to interrupt supply.
