8) Why not use Supercapacitors?
A. Batteries work better at this time, caps are rare and expensive devices that are very good at doing things not needed for storage systems typically.

All right, this is just a quick video to let people know that might be wondering if they can use the delta max batteries extend extended batteries right, smart batteries with the delta pro it is the same type of connector, the the um extension cord that comes with The generator right for the delta pro has the same connector and it has the same adapter to adapt it to the back here right, and so you can literally connect them, but once you do that when you go to turn the system on right, okay, so there We go, it turned on right and then it says off. So it's like. Oh what happened. You turn it back on again.

You turn the ac on it turned on, but then it shuts off. I have two of these batteries uh. They both behave the same way, but here's the interesting thing it does recognize them as an external battery, although it has like a little x um, it doesn't show it as the little generator so there's a different icon that happens with the generator. So i don't know if this is just the way they designed them, or this is just because this is not the latest firmware, maybe on this once and maybe they'll fix that but yeah.

If you were thinking of use by buying two systems and maybe interchangeably using them, it does not appear that that uh they're compatible at this time. All right, quick video. Thank you for watching i'll, see you bye.

I remember how fast Ecoflow reacted to one of your videos regarding the Delta Pro. I'd bet they have watched this already.

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ricky Tabor says:

I think they are compatible because the Delta Pro was able to recognize it. Maybe an update would suffice?

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Leonard Guenther says:

If they can be compatible to one another that would be a great option for Delta Pro owners if they don't need that much power.

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ria's Shack ham radio says:

The generator is advertised as working with both pro and max. Batteries are software locked to work with only the same series. So the batteries will not work across pro or max. The upcoming rooftop solar controller I don’t know yet. I suspect it will be pro only.

Great video! One little known secret is that the Ecoflow Smart Generator (gas) will work with both the Delta Max & Pro, it's too bad there wasn't a way to make it work with the batteries alone

I have been searching for a good power supply to charge through the solar input, would the bluetti power supply (brick ) be able to charge the ecoflow ?? Since the ecoflow would then become a ups battery and not a pass through
I live in PR and after maria a good 2000 w generator with a 3000 w ecoflow to buffer the load is the way to go in my case 1-3 gallon of gas a day, for 0.5kw running with 3 kw spike
Since the sun doesn’t shine for 3 days and solar panels tend to get damaged and usually not operation for a good 48-72 hrs after the storm all the food goes to waste.
If you could run several scenarios or recommend any power supply’s 24-150v dc to 10 amp since most of the new units accept 1000-1500 w through the solar input thanks huge fan since your early days

Can i use it while charging? I mean i need to use my gaming pc plugged on it while charging. Is there any issue or is that possible

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Robert Kubsik says:

The Pro and Max are two different chemistries. Max uses Nickel Manganese Cobalt, I would have been surprised if the Pro worked with the Max batteries.
