All right. quick video today. Something a little bit different. This is a light that we've had for a long time.

We have several pallets of these things and I never made a video because I'm like who's gonna want to buy this You know everybody's looking for Batteries nobody's obviously there are people looking for lights now today. I'm making this video because we're expanding into a another a bigger warehouse and so we're moving lights right now as we speak and I thought huh I wonder if we could throw some of these ones in there. And so today I'm going to look into this and then we're gonna install a couple of these and then to see how uh, what kind of difference uh of light they make right? So let's look at them first. This is a giant LED light.

Look at that. So it's got six of these Led, uh, mods or whatever. Um, and then the whole thing is just a big giant heatsink, right? So that means those lights will run kind of hot. Um, but the crazy thing is that it's rated at 100.

Watts So this light. it's very, very efficient because it's LED obviously right? So they have these uh Thomas research, uh, drivers LED Driver Class 2 output so it's 50 watts and then 50 watts and it drives half of the light for 50 watts and then deals so it's 100 Watts total. Which is crazy because you think about 20 years ago at 20 100 watt light bulb was like a tiny little light bulb. It wasn't enough to you know light up a whole warehouse.

but these are and these. Apparently these are for harsh conditions so these are built like a tank. I They'll take a beating and stuff and they're a few years old. I Guess they're You know they're outdated Now by today's specs, even though I don't know what they can be outdated, maybe the size I Don't know.

maybe there's maybe there's 50 watt lights that could put out the same amount as this one. I Don't know I don't know how they could be updated but 100 Watts for the amount of lights that these put out. uh, seems like a lot right? So um, there's not much to it other than that you it just has these things in here and you connect them. it's got a little box.

We're gonna put a couple of these up in the warehouse and then we'll we can test them. Um that's about it. So anyways, these were like I don't know some crazy, they're 23 000 or something when they were brand new. you know, 10 years ago 15 years ago whenever they came out I think now they're not worth much.

Uh so I think we're just gonna try to blow them out for like 50 bucks or something. So if you're interested, if you want a really tough you know light that is very uh, economical to run right? 100 Watts for this, uh well, they're gonna be at the website. Um let's go install this and then we'll test it and see how much light they put out. Oh yeah, that light right there.

That light right there is cool. all right. Are we gonna turn them on? Okay, let's see here. Whoa.

hahaha that's crazy. There we go. Yeah oh what a difference. I mean it's like barely lit or now we have lights, huh? Well I could put a separate switch I can connect it in there I just will need to get more wire I Thought I was gonna have enough but apparently not.
Doesn't go foreign. foreign.

Can these be used with a 240v system?

Meanwell driver , cree cobs ( like the ones on rapidled )
I wonder if people would want these as grow lights , though the equivalent would be the 75$ 100w mars hydro led panels

LED drivers can make great ebike chargers if they're in the right voltage and amperage range and adjustable.

    67watts, 5000k, 5288 lumens

Mesure the lumens per lamp, that will mean something for sure.

Hey what spectrum is the lights Kelvin rating. Sure have more to ask after the video like power consumption wattage etc.

The shipping is more than the light cost😮

You can usually convert old fluorescent shop lights into type B LED lamps for <15$. It's just a little rewiring, and the addition of a 1A linear fuse for safety.

Looks heavy. Probably the shipping cost the same as the lights themselves.

Were these things used on the back to the future movie ??

Because they look like the bottom bit of Mr Fusion…. that gray bit even seem to have a similar hinge that the coffee bit hooked up to 😂😂😂😂

Just for that i would love one 😂😂😂

they are outdated in terms of efficiency, photons per watt.

Hi buddoes it havd kelvins on them? Looking to see if they will work for grow lights? Specs if you have them? Keep up the good work my friend!😊

Hot light directly on wood without something? Some aluminum tape or the same one you use for batteries would do a great job and provide peace of mind.

Did you say they used to be $23,000?
Or maybe you said 2 to 3000.
