Can you post in the comments where I can buy these
items for the prices you quoted?
I did a self build and the battery was close to $400 alone.
The rest of the build kit was close to $500.
    The bike was a freebie.
    $900. is a lot more than $150.

That Towney is not a ten to fifty dollar bike , unless it is stolen . Just kidding I would ride it with no e bike conversion . The pedal forward design is an extremely comfortable experience ,

Thanks for the great project idea. The hardest thing to get was the M12 bolt, I ended up finding one at our local Autozone.

For anyone else that might hit this, the wires that go from the controller (the one linked to in the description) to the motor didn’t match for me. When I plugged in the three wires to their matching colors I could hear the motor in the hub hum but the wheel didn’t turn. I ended up with (from controller to motor) yellow to yellow, blue to green and green to blue. I hope that helps out anyone else that might hit this issue.
