A. Batteries work better at this time, caps are rare and expensive devices that are very good at doing things not needed for storage systems typically.

When will you be able to sell something like this again? Im highly interested
Did you ever make a video on the 20kw powerwall up stairs??
Hi im not seeing on website!!
any word on getting more of these? thx
Great info!
You should consider doing some videos on 12v batteries/power supplies – I know you're focused on 24v, and power wall kinds of things, but keep in mind that there is a huge amateur radio (HAM radio) community who would love to have some videos about setting up systems to power their mobile radios. Most of the mobile radios are spec'ed out for a 13.8v power feed, so maybe that is why you haven't done anything for HAM radio operators, yet.
Thanks for the great content and guidance on 'off-grid' solutions!

I have found that for automotive or RV use, you want the 13.8V step down converter. If you use the 12V step down all of your 12V stuff will complain of low battery once there is a load.
Baught one of these packs. Built a 24V system. 8s bms added. Charging with a solar charge controller and finding my last set of batteries the 8th string charges way faster then the other banks. 1 through 7s stay at around 3.4 volts while the 8s bank charges to 3.7. This stops the charging. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong. I’m using a EP Ever charge controller. Can’t get the pack to a full charge.
I want to start a solar street light and floodlights business. I need both LiON and lithium phosphate cells in bulk. Where can I get the batteries?
Stumbled on to this…. The ' dirt cheap inverters " run off 12V is my reason for looking into this…..
For those wanting to split them in half for 2 12v batteries.
The middle metal peels right off. Use a needle nose pliers and carefully pull it off of each individual battery. Be careful not to touch any other battery.
I taped off both sides and carefully removed the middle.
Boom 2 12v batteries.
So if I wanted to convert this to 12v and use it to power a sound system in a car this would give me 1kw hrs of power
I wish there was a video of separating it from 24v to 12v and adding a bms
we want 12 volt because we want to …………..
1. build a drop in replacement for a boat battery to run an electric trolling motor (i doubt you can get a 24 volt trolling motor and over volting most 12 volt motors to 24 will burn them out).
2. same goes for the car maybe a car that is very difficult to start where you end up draining the battery before the car finally starts.
3. 12 volt modules seriesed are easier to work with because you can replace a module and less cells have to go bad.
