If you've been following my project, then you might understand, that this project was not just a VW Restoration task, but it was rather a car conversion from one type of car to another, so there was a lot of cutting and welding to convert this from a Panel with no windows to a Deluxe 23 Window Microbus with the most amount of windows possible. The conversion didn't stop there, instead of putting in a Volkswagen Engine, I decided to go Electric, so I put in an electric AC Engine in my bus.
However most of my time so far has been spent on the body work of the car. There's still a lot of work that needs to be done in order to tighten up the motor installation. In this episode I explain some of the project I intend on completing coming up over the next few months or so.
I also got a chance to work on my cooling system.

Jehu, wondering if you still have the rotisserie that you used for this process, is it for sale? Or can you steer me in the right direction please? Thanks!
Hi just wondering what did you use to lower your bus and how low did you go ??
It's simple. Just go to INPLIX page and make it yourself.
Some one may have told you this but you can make partitions from 1/4 or 3/8 inch lexan plexiglass. It it pretty much industry standard.
I am kind of new in following this project and I am very interested in it. Do you have any list or video where you mention all the components used? ..didn't find something like that and would be very excited for a technical overview of your project 😉
Love the project…
I love your project. But damn that range! When someone comes out with a breakthrough in the technology that can extend the range of electric vehicles to something reasonable, things will get really fun!
how is your home electric bill? gone up much?
use dry ice to keep it cool
you should install a slide out tray from underneath the shelf and for the charge controller you should mount a small camera inside the compartment and have a small monitor in your dash up front so you can see it while you are driving, like a back up camera. what happens when it rains? everything water proff inside there?
Sourcing tesla hardware would be challenging so I'm thinking of manufacturing the port, if it does indeed become the standard there will be a market for it and i could have a lead on every other 3rd party manufacturer.
Jehu! Fabulous conversion, dude. I've been following in EVTV and Youtube. But…wait…J1772…then Tesla connector…Tesla becomes the standard (I've heard Jack say this and it's bloody hilarious!)…? Where are you going to source the Tesla hardware?
Coolness! Keep on keepin' on! Lovin it!
Between you and Jack, I learn soooooo much!!! Thanks for posting!!
