if they were fake you vould definetly see it at the crimping at the positive post due to different machines crimping and sealing the batteries you want the ones with the deepest crimping grooves
If there are basiclly the same and preform the same who cares if its "fake" if they use the same manufacturing process and same everything, its just semantics.

The only cells that are faked are the high drain ones. Absolutely no reason to fake those cells. They can be bought cheap enough on their own as long as there isn't too many middle men.

they can change depending on the factory that made the battery. LG has more then one factory.
