It’s more like spot welding not actually laying down a full welding bead but i think it’s only for automotive sheet metal spot welds nothing else but maybe a bigger battery will yield a more better weld I hope but nice video man 👍🏽
Hey, thanks for doing this video! Do you happen to know how this works with stick welding? I have one of these very small box welders and I just want to make some scrap art so I won't be needing much, but it has to be mobile.

I need to run a 1.5HP airconditioning unit window type and need to run it for 4 hours at least. What brand do you recommend?
Kept saying "Show me the welds", but you finally did and I have to admit it doesn't weld well*, but "it blends", to borrow a phrase. I would expect a nice pulsed TIG would actually do better, but if all you have is a MIG, then… Also, that does *not look like a sufficient base for an Ar/CO2 bottle that tall at all. Interesting video I didn't expect to like until the end.

Not everyone has that type of welder or afford… it's a pretty good welder sometimes people have welder from eBay hitbox from eBay..
I think the main problem with using a battery like this is to do with the inverter, even with petrol generators you need to have a more powerful inverter so the battery isn't the problem if you swapped out the inverter for a more powerful one the welder would have no problem, but then you get into a more expensive inverter, you could use the same batteries.
I have a 3 kw inverter on my petrol generator and it still won't provide enough power to use a mig welder, it might just do a stick welder on low power but welding uses a lot of amps.
if you use the small mig witch is known as a buzz box it will run fine

Welding off the back of a truck is done with a generator set not a battery
