A. Batteries work better at this time, caps are rare and expensive devices that are very good at doing things not needed for storage systems typically.

How well would this setup work secured to a Harbor Freight hand truck?

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dave Froman says:

These rack style batteries are showing up everywhere these days. Some of them are 48V with 280-320 AH batteries. The prices these days are getting down below 30 cents/Wh

The title suggests you built a powerwall for 500$ – THUMBS DOWN.

Why not just connect the inverter to its own 240 breakers to feed both sides of L1 (120v) and L2 (120v), then turn off the Master Main coming in from grid so your inverter is not feeding the grid. It is only feeding your house. You will know when main power is on when your neighbors houses light up. It would allow you to conserve power and just turn off the breakers for bigger things you do not need at the moment and even conserve more. I live completely off grid in the Texas desert outside of El Paso Texas. There are no power lines here other than what is on the Highway. It would cost us over $30,000 to run power here, so no other choice than to run Solar and Wind here. So we do not have that issue here for grid supply. Our problem here is finding storage for a good price. Batteries are expensive on a disabled families salary. Great build though.

Make hybrid inverter on solar charger

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars James's home solar & more says:

This is a bit misleading. The batteries are used. They should produce 5 kw each. So they are below 75 percent.
The inverters are not close to anything you would need. Saying it does 240 volts at 2000 watt’s. Check your 220/240 appliances. They normally use around 4000 watts each.
Can this be used? Yes but I would only do 120 volt’s. Plus as the batteries are used and below 75% degraded? I would look elsewhere.

And they turn it off without regards to those on oxygen who need their machines to breath.!!

The big picture here is, the Democrats fuck up everything they come in contact with! They get rich while the rest of us pay for it! Democrats are the problem! Clean up the voting system in California and you clean up California!
