A. Batteries work better at this time, caps are rare and expensive devices that are very good at doing things not needed for storage systems typically.

Hi. Can you explain. Is always in ebike 37/48v batteries from Aliexpress get used high discharge cells? After I made queries to view sellers, they did not confirm that. So I belive there get used ordinary cells. So how is possible to use 10s4p or 13s4p in battery pack for 500w or 750w motor if maximum discharge current of ordinal cells in 4p pack is 20Ah, but 500w motor take 22-23Ah(tested on my bike), belive with 750w motor even more. So mean those batteries not sutable for motor 500w and more? Did I understand it correct?

    Hi Jehu. I am deciding which would be better between the two…48v 100aH 5kwh x 6 pcs = 30kwh or 48v 200aH x 3 pcs = 30kwh. I need your expert advise. Thank you.

Another question…   At what voltage do you consider it to be unsafe to touch.  A 3s pack is roughly 12 volts DC and I don't feel anything when touching the pos. / neg.  At what point do we need to consider the possibility of electrocution?  I've heard DC is more dangerous than AC.  True?

Perhaps I have missed it but I could sure use a video explaining the selection of a battery charger.  A few questions I would ask.  How "clean" does the output have to be.  As an example I have a cheap 12v. car charger that is little more than a transformer and a large bridge rectifier.  Lots of 60 cycle hum if you look at the output on a scope.  Would that matter at all to charging a battery?  Second, what output voltage should the charger have.  I know that sounds like a simple question but.. not so much.  Lets assume 18650's  in a 14s10p configuration.  I want to charge to 4.0 or 4.1 volts to extend battery life.  Is selection as simple as 14 x 4.0 = 56 volts so that's what the charger should output or should the charger voltage be slightly higher / lower?  In general, anything else a builder should be concerned with when selection a charger?

hey, im buying 100 cells from an ebike store, i know nothing about the cells other than they are 3000mah used cells and they do hold a voltage. is 75 cents a cell an ok price? given the information.
