The Torquido battery has its own bms and charge controller. And it is possible to connect directly to the 29.6 V terminals. Thank you. Alexey.

QUESTION: I have about 20 LIPOs 3s 5000mah (5Ah) packs (11.1v total per pack) that can safely discharge at 70c just laying around (I am a RC boat hobbyist). And I am planning on extending the bluetti eb3a 268Ah capacity by this method BUT with 2 packs of LIPOs in series to make 22.2v. Will this work as well? In theory it should work right?
Because the only thing that is different from your setup is that I am using a different battery chemistry (LIPO) and different voltage (22.2v). I believe the bluetti eb3a can take 12v-29v via solar input Mppt charging. I understand that LIPOs can be very dangerous if mishandled but I have been around lipos for 30yrs in my RC hobby. ALSO, I am going to be hooking up some voltage alarm to the balance port to keep it from discharging below 3.5v per cell just like I always do when i run my RC boats to let me know when to stop.

Can you please do a eb3a battery capacity hack video? I was thinking that this might be possible with a back up lithium battery bank and through one of the charging ports? 12v port might be good, a bunch wired in series and into the pv charge ports might be best, maybe? The low amp hours of this new unit is my only gripe.
Hey 'Hu, would a 20v lithium ion battery pack work as well? Inspired by you, I canniblized 10 drill motor battery packs. Connected them in paralell bingo I have a very long lasting battery pack. It works great. But, as you already know, it's 20v. Well, I use a buck booster to regulate the current down to 12v to use it on my small dc things. But, it hit me, could I run it into my 200p? Would the 20v hurt the Bluetti? Any thoughts? You know the one thing I didn't consider when I ruined the 10 drill motors? Now, I have 10 drill motors I can't use!!!
I agree with most of the people, I like the videos and learn quite a bit about batteries. Lately, I bought a Bluetti 200p and dig it. What I was wondering, can I do pretty much the same hook up using 2 – 100ah (200ah) to run a little longer? I wanted to buy some stuff on your website but things get sold out fast.
Can these batteries charge with a solar charge controller
Could you actually connect this type of battery into this unit, or one of the extra official batteries so that the unit itself could charge these batteries through solar?
I'm thinking of having battery banks in various locations I need power in with a solar array, then I could use this unit to use the power in that location, and use the solar charge controller to replenish the extra battery bank. Or maybe I would need to have a separate mppt charger for that battery bank and just use the battery bank to charge this unit like you are doing here?
