This week we find just the right wire to make our very own cell level fuses on our EV battery pack.

este video tiene 9 años? joder este tio fue un pionero con las 18650 DIY

I got to say man I love how you started this video

Excellent Ideas to working my dead battery recondition

Great video, you are a great resource.

Very nice jehu, if this happens how will Tesla know, coz that isolated cell or module will decrease capacity of Full battery….same goes for our DIY power wall also? Is it to be physically inspected?

    I wish you make ebike

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dillon McCormick says:

Hi, 1.) you do not calculate individual cell amperage by taking total amps and dividing by cells being used. 2.) You info hoard for some reason and its weird.

I’ve learned a lot from your channel. It sparked my interest in solar and other ideas. It
Probably takes more time but I really wish you would show your set up
What your using how you set it up briefly. How you are testing current and voltage . What size or gauge fuse wire. Links to making the battery pack and bus wire
Connections. That way we can test ourselves and branch of from there if we choose. Just a newbie opinion. Awesome ideas! Thank you for all the information so far!

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mert Capkin says:

so, if you do it like this, you don't need nickel strips?

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nishit Er says:

If tesla use such low tech wire for protection, how does it re-connect once wire is blown? Strange….

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars KornShaDoW097 says:

4amps? Aren't lithium rated for 30amps? Why not set fuses to the cells max rather than overall system pull?

It's less current but don't motors have surges under specific conditions?

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Sky Wu says:

What awg of the fuse wire you using?

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chad Ramsay says:

Can you suggest a video that shows how to wire a balance lead on a 3 cell 5 parallel

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Angelina Manly says:

    I love the Samba!
