Wow. I thought I was the only one to strap my dogs in for safety. I tell everybody to put the dog's leash on a seatbelt, so you can roll the windows down.
haha that steering wheel is funny , its straight up and down..
hi . i have an question. i have a 3 phase electric motor diagram with 400V and 200A or 200V & 400A. you think wich one is good choice?
how are you changing the big pac and where you get a charger like that……great job on your work and the videos my hat is off to you
How many kilometers can you travel with that cell in your vw samba, thank you
I can't help but wonder why you didn't use cuboid batteries considering their higher energy density, better use of space, lower price and easier assembly.
hi jehugarcia, why you didn't continue to use 18650 battery pack and changed to tesla modules? regards and thanks for your dedication to produce these vídeos.
How did you run an AC50 off 4.2v? Oh, that massive sandwich of laptop batteries was replacing a single (100/180Ah?) CALB/Voltronix battery in the chain. Cost-wise, unless you have a "free" source of 18650's, they're about the same. Volume-wise, the 18650's are much larger. 25-26 of them to build a full 96V string is a lot of space. (I'll stick to taking Chevy Volt's apart. There are plenty of those around.)
Hello! been watching loads of your vids. Very informative! Quick Question. What temp are you soldering the batteries at? Was I seeing it at 480 C?
Do you have a good source for the bus bar and strips running down the cell rows?
+jehugarcia
i want one of those lithium ion battery module for a electric vehicle project i m working on. where can i get one in India
nice track on the end- what is that band ?
I bet he would of died when he seen these come out late 2015 NCR18650GA (10A) . And using fuse wire for the individual cells is a great safety idea, I've seen a lot of videos where that has not been done.
3.7v X 2.6 = 9.62
9.62 X 150 = 1443watt
1.443kw
The other video you told That Esamba use 400 watt per 1 mile.
how can running that samba just 1.443kw. 15 miles..
also how many kw you using in samba?
Is there a certain way you have to group the cells? am discharging to get the capacity but is there a certain way to build it (highest cap to lowest, half lowest cap half highest cap ect…) within a range of say 2000mha to 2500mha, 1500 to 2000. it's two groups but as you know not all batteries have equal capacities. can you use all of the cells within these two ranges or would you make separate battery packs and balance them?
Man!! You´re amazing!!! Keep up the good work!!
Can someone help with discharge rates?
do batteries in parallel and series discharge at different rates? i.e would 10 batteries in series (36v,2.5ah) only draw at 5A (with 2C) while 10 batteries in parallel (3.6v, 25ah) draw at 50A ?? If so then i'd need a lot more batteries than I once thought, i'm hoping that I am just confused.
+1 on a harness for your dogs rather than the collar. Even a small bump could be lethal for them. Thanks though for your vids. Very useful info.
