1. Dumb. Anyone can grab your plates at anytime. Google blurs plates for no reason. In public no one has a right to privacy. Since, according to Mitt Romney, corporations are people too they have free speech rights also.

Lol do people not realize how easy it is for someone to follow someone home or just take a picture of the car in real life that shows their plates. 9. i came here to find the answer to that question so i was scrolling through the comment section reading what some people put. ive never been too concerned about it but wasn't sure about why some people do it and others dont. it makes sense to me that a while back the public had access to information linked with the plates but now that info is not available to the public. i am not 100% sure if that is the correct answer or not but that is what makes the most sense to me

10. On google maps ya know how they have that 3D thing and they block out the license plate on cars and I discovered looking behind me that they forgot to blur one out and you could see it clear as day..

12. I don't understand when people blur out name branding on shirts or hats either. After all, you are a walking billboard. Just insane. People think that someone will somehow find where you live and come and steal your car or some shit like that. I don't block out name branding. Tough shit if I make money on my video that might have someone,s brand in it. I paid and they already made money and its still advertising for them that they don't have to pay out the ass to get. People are so stupid.

13. i blur others peoples that get into my video as i think it good etiquette, you can get a home address from a licence plate if your a car stealing criminal etc, not just water valves…..

14. Its a problem in the UK. Duplicate license plates are used to avoid tax, insurance, road tolls, automated speeding fines, annual safety inspections. Find a picture of a plate on a similar car located in another part of the country. Use its registration plate and the original owner gets the legal hassles caused by the clone.
