You replaced your old top of the line computer every year? And the fact that they were apple where the same hardware costs twice as much.. makes you come off as a little spoiled.

In my opinion, It should be enough that you can outright buy another Samba. Maybe one that was originally built as a Samba. We had one when I was a kid – classic white over red; canvas sunroof; but I can't honestly remember if it had the curved rear quarter windows. Plus, you should get enough to begin a new electric conversion. And end your debt issues. Otherwise, it's not enough, and selling would be a setback for you. That's my recommendation.
And then you could begin electrifying all over again. After the Rover, probably – since there are new lessons to be learned there too.

What are the specs on the MacBook.?
Wow, I don't think I've ever seen anyone buy an i3 Macbook Pro. Seems like a bit of a waste. The storage is a lot faster though, that helps a lot, if it has an NVMe SSD.

I think the $60k price was based on a real 23 window, which yours is not. real 23 windows go for more than that so the guy was trying to rip you off! you should have taken it….then built another.
