I made it by myself. Just go to Inplix webpage if you'd like do the same

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars MakeFix says:

Jehu, one thing i like about your videos is how unpretentiously honest they are, about the tech you explain in layman's words (successfully) but also about the actual perspective of your endeavour, particularly so in this video. DIY empowerment is as worthy a goal as making a gizmo that works. Well done
Keep on trucking ! (from France)

any knowledge about the ''rental'' battery from a renault zoe? a DIY would be awesome!!

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars WKD says:

Bought 21 batteries (122 cells) for €20 earlier this week (+€3 shipping). Right "out of the box" 65 were over 3V so price is already at 30cents per, only 15 were at 0V, 10ish were under 1V , 10ish were above 1V and 15ish above 2V and the few 2V's ive tested charged back to full without any issues (need a better charger before testing others). Can you find them? Absolutely, but finding a good deal will probably take months.

    I think i just bought a stolen laptop cell…
    25 laptop batteries for $25

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tooomps Challenge says:

I think your range extender trailer could serve double duty as powerwall when you're not traveling…

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tedlasman says:

Can you make a video of liquid cooling the battery packs?

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Raymond Earle says:

I am very lucky. My cell packs I got from my local Freecycle Website. I have not paid for a single cell. I am helping to stop them going to landfill/recycled and I wish I could send them to people around the world. But our postal system will not allow it. So I am building a DIY Tesla Type Power Wall and when I get too many cells. I shall share them with people in the UK. Then I can deliver them personally.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars HBPowerwall says:

When I first started collecting cells 4 months ago laptop batteries were being given away. Now they are $5 each. Out of 1600 cells only about 1000 were good useable cells. It's not for everyone and I'm sure glad you started with your samba cells. It got me started. Thumbs up!
