I wouldnt trust the push of the ideas from a man who "helped create the internet" when it was alive and kicking about the time he was smoking loads of pot and shooting pool in Harvard.

I do not agree with the ideals of global warming, and thats ok. A lot of you wont agree with me, and thats ok too.

What I do agree with is our resources are running out, as we are populating this planet faster than we can sustain it.
I also agree that fossil fuels and electricity controlled by the few who makes money (LOTS OF IT) off of the many who need to survive is crap. So if we can turn that around and build a home not reliant on the grid, and a vehicle that isnt sustained soley on fuel would be epic. I am a builder/doer/tinkerer and this is the purpose behind it…not the "hippy" ideals.

I'll try to watch the show…cant say I will make it through. Just Like i tried to watch farenheit 9/11 about 7 times. got so mad i turned it off within first 20 minutes.

If we all breathe 10 times a minute for an hour, that contributes to global warming, correct? thats over 7 billion people all breathing. That has to make a lot of CO2.

What ever happened to the man who had a car that ran on water? It was the late 60's, in Ohio. His prototype vehicle, notes, and himself, ended up missing. That should be the biggest issue. We are melting all of the ice and creating more water, if we utilized water to move, "greenhouse" gasses would be mostly removed.

If we stopped being consumers and started producing, go back to how life was in teh 50s, things would improve…some.

Population growth is not sustanable, so what do you suggest? Create a life for people that you see in movies? Hunger games, running man, logans run, etc? No, that isnt ethical and should be left to the movies.

way too long, a lot of already said/seen.
    TL:DW
    – eat chicken instead of beef,
    – get your politics to shift taxes onto CO2 activities

The problem with global warming is it's to late to stop it. The CO2 levels are past the tipping point AND our continued use of coal and oil will raise it further. The horse is out of the barn, the door is still open. Even if we close the door, the horse isn't coming back.

I saw it, i think it more to documentary rather than movie.. the other side of the world blaming America as the biggest green gases polluter.. and by the way china is doing better in green tech promoter.

oh man, I hate when celebrities jump on bandwagons and spread misinformation. Leo took a tour here in Alberta (Canada) of our oilsands, and then was quoted saying "you can really feel the global warming here". Yeah. That was during a Chinook – a weather anomaly that only occurs in 2 places on earth where warm air from the ocean is blown over the mountains in winter which results in "unseasonably" warm weather. the guy's a dink who doesn't do any actual research before he presents his "findings" to the public who accept it as fact because a celebrity told them it's how it is. Ugh.

Watched it before you posted this video. It's was good. But it won't make a difference at all. There had been a lot of documentaries like that before. None had any effect. It would only affect the people who care. The other ones are still blind and deaf to the problem.

Oh, and by the way, the sea level won't just rise with 7 meters as DiCaprio said. The sea will rise well over 300 METERS! I'll just wait and laugh my ass off to see how all these stupid people will drown. You could even say that Earth has a really good mechanism of self-correcting the problems.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ryan Breker says:

A documentary on global warming from the moron who thought chinook winds in Calgary while filming "the revenant" where drastic clear examples of global climate change.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars StarckMad 1 says:

Watched it Jehu. I would say it had a significant impact. Politically I'm to the right for a number of reasons but it's seldom that you get a person like DiCaprio who has had opportunity to compile so many perspectives on it. Can't say I've eaten my last steak or driven my last mile on petrol, but this motivates me to move in that direction. Thanks for posting this!
