Hello all, I have a $500 FB1-4001 (72-144v) coming my way to put in my Beetle.
My question is this: how many 18650 cells should I buy? I want a 40+ mile range in the city.
I built a Portable Bluetooth speaker using the Samsung battery pack. used a buck converter to bring down voltage to 24v and use it on a 24v digital amplifier board with a Bluetooth module. connected on a pair of 10 inch PA speakers…. it is stupid loud!! and battery lasts more than 6hr's easy so happy with results!!
Great video ….Learning is POWER ….Thank you for sharing your knowledge …I need to buy you a new T shirt 😉
How can i use this battery to power a 24 digital amp board? And how can i charge it. Ty. The board is the tpa3116d2
I'm building a powerwall. By the way I live very close to you.
Since BMS will not balance, I did more testing. When cells go out of balance (even just 5/100V) than unbalance is getting worse with each additional charge. Did you try to take it apart? Shrink wrap will brake off the cells. Anyway just to let you know. John
Any french here ? Brand new lithium battery for 2€ ! (With 6 cells)
would you please do a video on what you can do with these?
Hey Jehu, you ever consider making a video on how to clean the spot welds? I'm waiting for the solderless vruzend kits to come in (I guess they are on back order) and saw the video where it mentioned it best to use brand new batteries. I got 10 of these LG cell packs and to clean them up. The only solution I have heard of is to dremel/grind them. Not sure how safe that is if you're not careful.
I just found you today from one of your power wall videos. I am a disabled Veteran living in the Philippines and have almost daily blackouts. Usually lasting 10 minutes to just over an hour.
Is it reasonable to replace the 12v 7Ah battery in my APC UPS with a pack in the 100Ah, maybe up to 200Ah? Since the blackouts are reasonably short, all I want to power is connected to my UPS (TV as monitor, laptop, router, and a floor fan). I do not have a need for whole house lights, refrigerator, stove etc, just want to continue on the internet or watching a movie.
I know I can hook up a battery but do not know about running a APC 650 UPS for an hour as far as it heating up and being able to recharge a larger capacity battery.
If anyone finds a good way to ship them to Germany let me know please! Im going crazy here, because I just cant find good cells for a good Price.
I just broke up my pack of these to make a 12v 13.2 ah pack for my CPAP machine. I am going on a road trip and if I don't use it I am tired all day. I found my machine uses 1 amp per hour so my 18 cell pack will last 13.2 hours. To buy a lithium pack from a CPAP dealer they want $319!
