I've been wondering if you could join extra batteries together to create more storage capacity. You're the first person who answered that, thanks.

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars posteroonie says:

Maybe it has 172wh, but inverter losses only give 150wh of AC power.

Don't know if i'll get a response since this video is a bit old, but here goes. This sounds good and the price is right, but this I need to know. I have a electric scooter, it has 3 – 12 volt 15 amp battery's, the normal charge time through a household wall plug is 3 to 4 hours. The rate of which my changer operates from is 110 / 120 volts at 60 hz delivering 1.5 amps. Will this unit be able to charge my battery's.
I see many different video's and they all for the most part usually have wall plugs in them, but no one ever seems to say how long the run time is on these solar generator's. I can only feed my battery's through my changer and it only feeds at a rate of 1.5 amp, so the generator will have to have a run time at full charge of at least 3 to 4 hours. Does this unit do this, or do I need to find a larger solar generator.
Also since I'm picking your brain, could you tell me if there is a portable folding solar receiver / panel that would recharge this unit during a normal sun lit day of 8 hours. If so what size / out put, would I be looking for. Pretty much a lame about this stuff so I would really appreciate any help you could give. Would really like to have a combination kit that includes everything from solar panel to generator and plugs, that fit into a back pack, not asking for much Ha! ha!, thanks.

You never said what the lights were you used to test. And I've used this model for an art show using 2 LED lights that drew 13.5 watts. Lasted me 6 hours.

Hey Jehu..I have an APC xs1500 and I wanted to make a solar generator out of it like I saw in your other video with the Tripp-Lite system..I just wanted to know how to convert it or should I say what parts would you recommend to convert and send it to my father in Puerto Rico. Since this is 12v not 36v like in your video I need help..Thank You

Bro. This is the same for a ups? But the ups charges the battery. When plugged in.
But your saying to scrub the grid to the ups. And use my solar to charge the batteries or grid to batteries. But not to ups.
