8) Why not use Supercapacitors?
A. Batteries work better at this time, caps are rare and expensive devices that are very good at doing things not needed for storage systems typically.

I didn't see where you can buy the circuit boards that is a nice assembly you got going on there with the boards that attach to the battery holders do you sell those boards?

Hello battery experts! I want to build an electric bike in the winter. What is the best deal i can get for a batterypack, prebuilt or semi-prebuilt?

Good show.I wonder if you can help me figure out what i have and if these cells are worth using for anything. They come from 48v ebike bottle style batteries. They are marked "HW 18650 3.7v 2000mah NB18.I have some video salvaging the cells.

Starting the video, you called those boards v1.2. Not the latest version? Where's your ECR page? (engineering change report 😉 Are you not fusing the cells now?
Jehu, did you confirm that the Re-Volt batteries were not the suspect chemistry?
Regarding the hot spots, have you tried greasing them with electrically conductive paste?

GUYS I NEEDED HELP:  I was charged lithium batteries in my bed room.  because over charged I felt slept one BUSTED IN FLAME fire. everything in that battery shoot out like a fire gun head.  I work up and stop the fire.  MY QUESTION is how toxic is ONE Samsung 18650 Lithium battery can do damage to my body?  It's impossible to clean up 100% carbon black color was all over my other things like books boxes clothes notes etc.  Can you guys check for me how bad is one 18650 can damage?  should I worry or I am ok clean as much as I can and move on?  THANKS A LOT.

Okay, I am old and really never had interest in anything like this. But I am looking into full time RVing and would be interested in a battery bank for collecting solar power in the 600 watt range ( solar panels ). I was thinking of 4 golf cart batteries at about 230 amp-hour. But with something like this here, I think the space savings to get the same storage capacity would be worth the money investment. Do you have anything that would resemble that kind of setup. Sorry to be so ignorant but you guys are way over my head. I just have a specific need and would love to have something like this instead of wasting so much space. The lithium battery solutions that I have explored are very prohibitive in price. Thanks for any info you can give…

Hi Jehu. I’m pretty new to this. I own a 2014 BMW i3, but live in an apartment complex, and can’t charge at work. My question is? Can I build a power wall and put it in my car to extend its range, Or can I recharge from it while I’m working? I would need about an additional 50 miles of range. Would it be expensive?

Do you know about getting cells used in Europe? Or can one buy your packs in Europe?

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Hagan Du helicopter says:

It be a good Idea to add power terminals for a fan to cool them down, maybe even a TMS (thermal management system)built in as well

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Hagan Du helicopter says:

Just wondering what battery would you recommend for power walls as I have seen some really cheap ones on a Chinese online store they claim to be lg cells that are brand new and they are about 8$ CAD per 100 cells (box) maybe this summer I can send them to you and then tell me what you think
