Amazing video. Been watching Jehu's channel for over a year now. You should start an academy to teach youth about batteries and chargers. Hopefully we can meet and talk about this and your projects soon.
So confused… is this interview before or after Tesla battery day?
If a city grid needs rolling blackouts due to air conditioning (intermittent 2kW), how could it maintain car charging, even if it is at night?
Energy (watthours) / time (hours) = power (watts)
Battery charge (Ah) * battery voltage (V) = battery energy (Wh)
Battery energy (Wh) * C rating (1/h) = battery power (W)
Jehu. Your awesome bud, a true Tech guy that does his tech his own Tech and knows his Tech and talks useful tech!
You are so much better than the other so called tech channels that just turn out just to be channels that only talk about their electric car companies stock , to try and boost your personal stock portfolio and could care less about Tech or even know how any Tech works. Jehu "Now you know" Lol
When you want want or need a hand to work on your Bus let me know I will give you a hand. "Yes I know what Im doing. ๐
The $80k dollar car is the reason there will continue to be cheaper Teslas.
Tesla's secret sauce is simple. Elon said that in the long term, the only thing that matters is the rate of improvement. That, and the focus on the powertrain. Compare the updated Model 3 to the new Polestar 2. I hear it's nice. Tesla goes 100 miles farther.

Economics is not a science. That is why it is so hard to understand. It is a pseudo science. In real scientific endeavor all branches of science are bound by the laws of nature across all disciplines. And those laws do not change. In economics, you can change the rules any time you want. And the human species has done so repeatedly throughout our existence. The primary economy on our planet is not dollars, cents, assets, or capital. The primary economy on this planet is photosynthesis.
There is no scientific or mathematical way that you can maintain an economic model of perpetual growth and consumption of resources for the purpose of profits, on a planet that has limited resources for us to exploit. This mad chase for GDP is the reason we have destroyed out biosphere. We live in a disposable society that is driven by the creation of waste and obsolescence for perpetual profits. Its not that we cannot make a toaster that lasts 60 years. There is simply no repeat sales and GDP growth if we do that.
