But will this handle a 500 amp at 12 volts load if not then I will get the Rec A-bms it's compatible with Victron and the Wakespeed ws500 alternator controller
Perfect! I want one. Take my money!
Yes' would love one, but' how much are they? And where from?
HEY Jehu!!!! The funding page for this shows it was suppose to be out last year… can't tell where to order as they have exceeded their funding request??? 😮
Heeelp….jejejej. necesito ayuda. Tengo una bateria de samsung sdi 2kw y no se si es litio-ion o lifepo4 el valor supuestamente es 48v 44ah pero en el multimetro me da 42v y son 12celdas. Now in english my bad inglés jeejej y need too know the tipe of bateri y have y don't know how too look and y don't wish disassemble the pack it's solder with laser. Thx mean and you know your ar the best 💪👍
Yeah! Received my SBMS40 today. Wish it would have shipped with a set of 24" BMS leads. I found two 5 pin connector cables but of course the color codes don't match so increases chances of making a wiring mistake thereby creating bad reviews or support issues for Alex.
I just got mine! So excited. Do you have a vid of installing this with one of your 7s modules? Im not very savvy with wiring so it would be a huge help…
Beast gadget but im learning and not so simple.
Already bought powermr mmpt 60A. I assume I can just ignore the solar part and dedicate sbms40 for battery and load management.
I guess he doesn’t know about ANT BMS… haha
Could the plugs be repostioned to the back or sides and bolt holes so it can be face mounted?
I have one problem. I wana convert my sailboat to electric. Using 2x520wp24v solar panel and wana use lithium battery 48v300ah. So i will need a 14s bms. What will you use. The electrodacus don't have 14s
Does the SBMS40 use a PWM algorithm on the PV input, to throttle the connection to the battery as the battery approaches full charge? If not PWM, then what is it doing to taper the current at the end of the charge cycle?
Have you any experience with LTO Yinlong cells ? – I would be interested in your opinion and if this BMS would be suitable for them?
Like reliable – Great channel thanks for all your hard work !
I had to support! Cant wait for mine to show up.
not for 48V 16S. simply because electrodacus has a 24V system and does not bother for that market. i suggested this years ago to him and he said it is made just for him.
so there you go, he himself is not interested in marketing it.
price point?
