I am Gordon the guy who was mentioned in the video and the guy he helped with this system and I have to give a update and thanks and Gratitude for the many comments and support from all and I must say I don't know how I would have gotten through that winter without his amazing help and hardware

I'm terribly sorry I have not been able to finish editing my video of everything being set-up and used and problems and solutions to issues with it through the winter

So I wasn't ever able to get solar panels for my truck so I was fortunate to have a few people that let me park and camp on their property and was able to use a extension cord to charge it up for the time I was without shore power and it was a great experience and I learned that batteries don't like the cold lol
I had it fully charged and went to a Walmart to camp a few days and learned I had a draft where I had the battery bank at and one night it almost completely drained or had a 70 80%loss of power

So finding the draft fixing it and then putting the bank in a tote with few blankets wrapped around it helped big time

I found a small desk heater 450watt and was able to make it work for a good 8 to 10 hours then had to find a place to plug into and charge

There was a few people that commented on donating a few solar panels and I was never able to connect with them via comment or able to find them to reach out I think if I had a few even a few small ones it would have not been such a hard time it was amazing to actually get it to power a little heater that long
I had 3 deep cycle batteries before this and they would get drained or be dead after 3 4 hours I felt so blessed by him taking the time to put the package together for me and bother taking time out to bless me and speak with me

I never expected him to give me anything I reached out for advice on how to extend the power life in my setup and if he had any old equipment I could buy from him before winter and after a few back and forth messages between him and myself he says listen if I have a address where I can get a package that he would put something together for me and he surely did

So after I got it I went to a friend's motel and I began to put it together and try to record it and I did and I will tell you the last tray for the top I put on and secure the 4 nuts and 1 got to almost the last one and the wrench I was using slipped and made contact with POS and NEG and I'm sure you can imagine and zap spark and not only was I not expected it I was startled and lost grip and a corner of it weight and all caught me in the right spot cutting my hand open and wasn't horribly to bad but we got a good laugh out of it lol

Still haven't found a case for it yet but I have used it multiple times and it made a difference between me possibly making it or not how the winter that came was a really rough one

Well skip ahead to the last year and half
I'm happy and proud to say I'm no longer living in my car and I was given a chance and opportunity to get out to Ohio and if I did I would have been helped with a jog opportunity and a little help to get my own place again and I did and I have a 2bedroom house and a job I work 80 to 90 hours a week
I'm just happy to have a chance to rebuild my life and things are going well for me for the most part I am not even receiving public assistance anymore I'm really working my butt off to never struggle like that again and when I am at a point where I am able I will pay it forward

I'm not used to this still lol it's been so long being down and out it's undescribable how it feels to feel on top of my shit again

It's rough and hard work but I'm a better person for the experience and knowledge of living though that time in my life

I still use the system and I still want to get solar panels for it
I'd like to put some money aside and get a few power banks from you for my house

And if there is anyone who still wants to donate or bless me with panels I would be unbelievably grateful
Please contact me on my Facebook by messaging Gordon.j.Markopoulos

I'm going to try to finish the video minus the injury part lol and post it

And if you guys have read everything that I have said to this point and have not already done it please take a moment to

What do you recommend, 24v, 36v, or 48v, on power packs? I was looking at 12v but a few people have said go higher voltage.

Must feel good bragging, get some attention, provoke people to share the most difficult parts of their life with a hope of getting what they need, then just go back to making money. Real humanitarian here…

I would be willing to help out however I can to those in need. I am in a position where I do not need the 2kW box, especially when there are those with much greater needs. Willing to donate some 18650 cells I've been collecting for quite a while in hopes to build my own Tesla style battery pack for a future project.
