are the NiMH cell from Toyota worth buying? I saw a few on eBay. and was wondering if they were really lithium? but would they be worth buying? for solar storage. for a off grid setup. I didn't know they used nickel in EVs. or for the money would I be better off with lead acid? or use the money to start on a lithium bank? thanks

Hey there jehugarcia, man I love your windshield would kill to open mine, been following your videos for quite some time and now have a project of my own. Regarding tesla batteries, I bought 2 modules of a 90d, 25v a piece so 50v together I believe. I'm trying to hook them up to a solar charge controller and use a 48v inverter to run everything with my project. However, I've contacted tesla through email and phone support to no avail on specs of the batteries. I realize they run 25v a piece because of the 400vdc full pack, I don't know the max absorption voltage for charging nor the proper float voltage to get these guys to last as long as I can. I would really appreciate any help ! Nobody posts cool stuff like this. Thanks for the awesome videos/info !
