April Bolduc is president of the Electric Auto Association where she continues her passion for growing the number of electric cars, delivery trucks, buses and micro-mobility on our streets and highways. April Bolduc has been driving electric since 2011 and has led hundreds of educational events to grow the adoption of electric cars and trucks across the country. She is president of S Curve Strategies and works with utilities, states and cities across the U.S. to develop EV charging infrastructure, partnerships and outreach strategies that increase both transportation electrification and clean air in our neighborhoods. Her holistic approach to clean transportation is her key to success, as she believes every neighborhood deserves clean air and that the work of the Electric Auto Association chapters is unparalleled in their efforts to educate their local communities about the benefits of driving an electric car or riding on an electric bus.
April is co-chair of the Smart Electric Power Alliance’s EV Working Group’s “Distribution Planning Committee” where she produced two key reports on best practices for EV charging infrastructure installation. April speaks at many transportation electrification industry conferences about the benefits of developing wholistic e-mobility programs. Prior to forming S Curve Strategies, a nationally certified women-owned business, April led San Diego Gas & Electric’s electric vehicle customer engagement team where she grew the region to be the highest adopter of EVs in the country.

FAQ: - Where can learn more about batteries? http://j35.us/DIYlithiumBatteryBook
I don’t have an Electric Car yet. But I I’m on the list (300,000+-)for the Cybertruck and the Aptera. Also have a small stake in both companies and Arcimoto, the “Fun Utility Vehicle”.I’m 79 years old and I’ve had ebikes for 25 + years. Started with a Curry Conversion a friend of mom’s gave me when he got his Segway. I sold all of mine to interested people who saw me riding and flagged me down. I live in a small town in Idaho and until recently Ebikes were kind of a novelty. I currently ride a Sondors XS and a SurRon. I got an email from Sondors about a week ago telling me my Metacycle was in Long Beach and should be delivered soon. Thank you both for the information/video.
"tapping energy" — great technical explanation
I wouldn’t trust a thing Shell does!
In Sweden 🇸🇪 we have hour metering but here normally it is cheap during the night.
You should definitely start with hourly metering, except steering people to the belly of the duck you also give a economical room for buying batteries.
The grid owners or the state should incentives to buy home batteries just to them self be able to use parts of it them self.
need to petition grand prix to enter electric car and then win
include batteries in products such that they run at night off the batteries.. refrigerators, tvs, lighting fixtures,.. etc.. solar.. it will balance the grid solar excess daytime power. have battery boxes.. that can be retroactively added to appliances or in between wall outlets and appliances
or have the battriees connected with software to the grid
i like the show, keep up the good work, ty for sharing
Electric school buses, class 6 & 8 are for real…
Also working with Arcimoto … liked the interview
Vancouver BC Canada used electric busses for decades. I remember riding on them in the 70's. Right now they are all diesel. Can't wait for that to shift back to electric.
So California has all this sun light, and solar energy generation and still has some of the highest electric rates in the country? So during high use times not synced with the Sun, I assume CA is buying power at higher costs. Too bad they feel it is necessary to shutdown the 24 hr producer nuclear plants.
Tesloop is still in business, but operations suspended due to COVID … and I guess lower demand as they said on their website.
UNFORTUNATELY, DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, OUR OPERATIONS ARE CURRENTLY SUSPENDED.
We remain excited about electric mobility and look forward to the future.
Do you know that Motorola build electrical VANs I think Dodge brand for USPS? in 1996? Even they have electrical Corvette in Motorola museum.
